Formore information, visit.Position Overview:KORE Power is currently seeking a Vice President of Operations with extensive experience in senior oversite of a large production manufacturing organization. The most qualified candidate must have extensive experience managing production, inventory, safety, operations, manufacturing, quality, staff, Supply Chain and Logistics. The ideal candidate will have a background in technology and manufacturing, and preferably Energy industry experience in the Renewables and/or Energy Storage markets. The VP of Operations will be instrumental as KORE Power continues to build out our manufacturing footprint globally. This position reports to the President of KORE.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement strategy related to all Operational functions
  • Collaborate with internal and external Supply Chain, Logistics and Fulfilment
  • Manage and support all aspects related to the manufacturing of world class battery energy storage integrated systems
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer and Engineering teams on the release of current and future generations of the KORE Power energy storage integrated systems
  • Lead coordination and collaboration among all departments within the Operations organization
  • Create and implement organizational plans and work processes
  • Develop and measure appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the President
  • Develop and lead the Technical, Manufacturing, Materials, Planning, Quality Control, Logistics, Supply Chain, Field Service and other teams as designated by the President
  • Implement and manage IT infrastructure including ERP, CRM and other vital applications
  • Collaborate with President and Senior Executives to develop and communicate key goals and metrics
  • Employ Six Sigma manufacturing processes
  • Provide the resources necessary to create and achieve meaningful quarterly goals and track ongoing progress in quarterly meetings
  • Analyze internal operations and identify areas to improve processes
  • Ensure adherence to timeframes, and on-time delivery to customers and partners
  • Ensure that company, federal, state and local business requirements are adhered
  • Work closely with the CFO to develop budgets, ensure fiscal responsibility, determine inefficiencies and implement cost reductionsSkills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Manufacturing, Engineering or related fields
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations Senior Leadership
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry including site selection and facility development
    • Minimum 8 years of experience leading Technical, Quality Control, Service, Supply Chain, Fulfilment and Logistics teams
    • Lean Six Sigma highly desired
    • Extensive experience with applications including ERP and CRM
    • Exceptional management capabilities and negotiation skills
    • Be a versatile team player with a can-do attitude. Consistently rise to the occasion in a fast growing and rapidly evolving business
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all aspects of our business internally, and externally with customers, partners and suppliers
    • CME, PMP, ASQ and other manufacturing-related certifications ideal
    • Experience with new product development and program management
    • Experience with certification processes including ISO, CSA, UL, NFPA and others
