Grow an integrated architectural strategy that supports next-generation reporting and analytics. Deliver an integrated, conformed, fast data warehouse with multiple agile teams. Develop healthcare data structures and data transformation logic to allow for analytics and reporting for customer journeys, personalization opportunities, pre-active actions, text mining, action prediction, fraud detection, text/sentiment classification, collaborative filtering and recommendation, and signal detection. Interface with businesses to understand business needs and translate these concepts into technical direction. Lead design and maintain solutions that conform to enterprise standards, architecture, and technologies. Distill complex ideas into an architectural and implementation plan. Provide technical expertise to develop solutions that automate testing between systems. Recommend and enforce policies for team's use of the source code control system (GIT). Perform peer code reviews. Merge requests and production releases. Implement design and functionality using Agile principles. Deliver customer facing applications for a variety of scenarios. Be accountable for the delivery of business functionality. Ensure ongoing data quality by monitoring data to proactively identify problems. Utilize his deep understanding of environmental constraints in implementing and deploying application solutions. Innovate outside of architecture and software patterns. Qualifying experience must include working with: databases larger than 5TB; Python; Teradata; Unix; Hadoop; HIVE; Informatica; Tableau; GIT; and, Jenkins.
Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a Business Intelligence or analytics development role working on a variety of large-scale projects in the Healthcare Informatics domain (or a Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of experience).
