The work location for this position is Norwalk, Connecticut, and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.The Opportunity:In this role you ll:
- Oversee and perform all aspects of Contracts; review and process. This includes, but is not limited to, entering new customers and new Sales Contracts into the Revenue System, preparing and sending all invoices, interfacing with customers, and working with the business development function
- Update critical internal reporting such as the Work in Progress (WIP) report for new and closed contracts on a timely basis; identify events that incur billing and revenue recognition
- Handle all aspects of ongoing contractual invoicing one-time fees, monthly subscriptions, and transactional revenue. Accept responsibility for other revenue streams as they are introduced
- Book and reconcile all transaction revenue each month using Data Warehouse reporting by workday 2
- Track Deferred Revenue and apply ASC 606 appropriately
- Perform revenue financial analysis vs budget and prior year. Report results to Assistant Controller/CFO
- Generate revenue forecasts/estimates as required
- Identify and resolve all aspects of accounts receivable collections: Follow up, dispute resolution, statements, and reconciliations
- Interface with Database team on Data Warehouse maintenance and ongoing issues
- Complete Data Warehouse maintenance monthly to facilitate the correct transactional revenue
- Provide timely reporting to ensure Revenue is validated and reconciled within month end closing cycle
- Assist on all financial audits internal or external and corporate disclosures as needed
- Recommend solutions and /or automation projects for scalability and productivity improvements
- Work in compliance of with company accounting standards and guidelines

- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in SaaS Revenue contract accounting with working knowledge of revenue recognition rules
- 3 to 5 years accounting experience
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft products proficiency in Excel required
- Intuit (Quickbooks) a plus
- Ordway Labs experience a plus
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines
