Kforce's client in Stamford, CT is seeking a Senior Project Manager to run projects within a large regulatory program.Overview:The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are managed with high quality to on-time, on-budget, and in-scope completion. The candidate works in collaboration with the program's stakeholders to establish project goals and success criteria. The candidate will be responsible to plan out and drive the deliverables, including leveraging stakeholders outside of the department and/or external resources for the implementation. The candidate will proactively identify/resolve risks and issues, track/report status, and communicate with the stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in delivery of IT, large scale projects of a similar nature
  • Experience in managing teams without being the line manager of the resources
  • Experience in managing teams that consist of both company employees and third parties
  • Excellent knowledge of the inner workings of a corporate IT department and experience driving IT stakeholders to deliver desired outcomes
  • Exceptional knowledge of the roles of the legal, compliance, internal audit, and risk functions in a corporate setting and experience driving these departments to deliver desired outcomes
  • Experience in managing projects in a global, matrix environment
  • Very strong communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Follow a well-structured mode of operation, including detailed project planning and task/action tracking
  • Proven track record in delivering program/projects on-time, on-budget, and in-scope
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unlessand until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
