Senior Production Manager

We seek a results-focused, innovative, customer-centric well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Senior Production Manager. In this role, you will convert raw materials and WIP into the highest quality adhesives and oligomers by ensuring established procedures and batch formulations are followed under strict safety and ISO9001 quality management operations, and by developing manufacturing personnel into productive, efficient, quality-focused high-performing teams. Also support shipping and maintenance personnel as needed.
You will:
- Drive methods improvements in manufacturing costs by ensuring products are produced safety first, highest quality, standard work, least cost then implementing new processes, tools, and fixtures
- Develop vibrant, responsive, innovative, high-performing manufacturing teams by exercising strong leadership skills to acquire, develop, train, coach, and cultivate high potential employees
- Coordinate daily operations requirements by ensuring the implementation of detailed, documented on-job training of Work Orders, Batch Sheets, and Work Instructions, and updating as necessary
- Maintain an enthusiasm for continuous improvement efficiencies by engaging 6S principles that isolate, recognize and develop processes, and lead to better commercial outcomes
- Improve the on-time delivery of Dymax products and quality assurance by root cause analyses of cycle time, yield, and process variation to develop new processes, procedures, and equipment specs
- Establish and manage extraordinary standards of customer service and reputation by leading customer-responsive, articulate production and shipping teams
- Effectively execute the daily production plan schedule by establishing and adhering to lines shipped on-time commitments, and by optimizing the usage of equipment, people, maintenance services, and shipping & receiving resources
- Maintain a safe, healthy, clean, ergonomically sensitive productive workplace by ensuring the facility is clean and organized consistent with 6S efforts, and by using maintenance services to stay compliance to local, state, and federal safety requirements
You should have:
- BS in Engineering or Chemical Engineering; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of managing and leading teams in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent knowledge and experience working with ERPs; JD Edwards Enterprise-1 preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and Six Sigma
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and financial acumen

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
Bomar takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Bomar salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of Bomar total compensation packages for employees.
