Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

- Position is not the normal Analyst position. Example: In the morning you might be doing variance analysis for Corporate Finance, after lunch ad hoc analysis then later in the afternoon then putting together PP for leadership.

Responsibilities of Sr. Financial Analyst:
- Support the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets, as well as periodic forecasts.
- Analyze proposed operational budget requests; critically evaluate and enhance organizational
- dialogue related to financial planning issues, including Revenue, Expenses and FTE allocations.
- Develop, improve, and streamline financial processes, reports, and planning tools
- Oversee and enhance institutional cost accounting practices
- Act as a liaison between the Finance division and business units and physician practices
- Support Hospital and CCSG business leaders to prepare multi-year business plans for new
- programs and initiatives to identify impact on clinical volumes, organizational and program
- financials, and evaluate return on investment
- Develop, maintain, and distribute various monthly / quarterly / annual analyses and reports to evaluate productivity, financial performance and growth opportunities
- Prepare, maintain, and present analyses for ad-hoc requests for hospital senior leadership as necessary
- Assist in the month end close process, including, but not limited to, booking journal entries, report distribution, variance analysis, Leadership slide preparation
- Collaborate with various Corporate Services area Leaders to develop / provide them with Ad-hoc analysis related to Organizational requirements.
- The incumbent must be able to work both within teams and independently, with limited guidance and support, to influence outcomes.
Preferred Experience of Sr. Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative/analytical discipline preferred
- Five to seven years of organizational budgeting process management and long-range planning
- Experience in healthcare setting and/or healthcare consulting preferred
- Fit is important - Comfortable with moving quickly, in fast paced environment, not doing the same thing every day
