**Careers that Change Lives**In this role, you will be a part of Medtronic s Enterprise Engineering Global Molding & Capital Mold Tooling leadership team within Operations Innovation.You will be responsible for owning and driving all Medtronic New Plastic and Metal Injection Mold Tooling investments. You will work with multiple Molding Suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure Part Models, New Injection Molds, and Metal Mold Tooling are launched with Molding Suppliers per the organization s Strategy Roadmap.You will have a direct engineering and technical team located mainly in the USA, and Contractors based in India and Mexico.We re a mission-driven leader in medical technology and solutions with a legacy of integrity and innovation. Join us for a career that changes lives.**A Day in the Life** Engage with Category Management, Supply Chain, Operating Units, and other cross-functional organizations within Medtronic Engage actively with Molding Suppliers Drive RFQ packages and drives technical discussions with Suppliers Ensure all New Molds quoted have Updated Part Models representing the component level Ensure a cadence of Mold Launches that meet the organizational Strategy Roadmap Provides Strategic planning and technical support**Must Haves** Bachelor s and 7+ years of Engineering experience and 5+ years of managerial experience OR advanced degree and 5+ years of Engineering and managerial experience **Nice to Have** Experience leading highly technical teams Experience engaging with Suppliers and Contract Manufacturing Solid understanding of the injection molding process Supplier Change Control and Agile System process experience SAP experience Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills Strong strategic mindset RFQ Process experience Capital Management >$50M experience**About Medtronic**Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
