On behalf of our client partner, BomaLink is looking for a Senior Azure Back-End Engineer to perform analysis of an existing architecture built in Azure, focusing mostly on Data Factory pipelines and datasets, with some additional work possibly required in DevOps and Cosmos DB. Data Factory pipelines currently exist but many are broken or poorly built. Fixing broken pipelines and optimizing the system will be required. Must be self-sufficient in this role.

100% RemoteResponsibilities
- Analysis of an existing architecture built in Azure, focusing mostly on Data Factory pipelines and datasets.
- Understand the project requirements and implement the requirements using Azure Data Factory.
- Some additional work possibly required in DevOps and Cosmos DB.
- Review, analyze and update existing poorly built data Factory pipelines. Fix broken pipelines and optimize the system.
- Work with other Azure stack modules like Azure Data Lakes, SQL DW, etc.
Ideal Qualifications
- 5+ years in a technical position. Desired degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent Experience.
- Deep Understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows and Linux, with demonstrated hands-on experience on one or more of the following domains:
- Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking required
- AKS or Kubernetes engineering highly desired
- Data Platform: SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of Azure data lake is required
- Should be able to analyze and understand complex data
- Certification in Microsoft and/or competing Cloud Technologies is desired.
- Passion for customers and focus on delivering the right customer experience.
- Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment. Ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Application development & debugging experience: C/C++/C#, Python, Node.JS, etc.
- Azure Application Development or support experiences with Azure PaaS services (Redis Cache, Service Bus, Event Hub, Cloud Service, IoT suite, Mobile Apps, etc.)
- Website troubleshooting & coding experience: IIS, Azure Web Apps, PHP, Apache, Tomcat, WordPress, etc.
- Identity and Authentication: SSO/Federation, AD/Azure AD etc.
- Experience in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source) desired.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both oral/written) with the ability to communicate at various levels with clarity & precision.
- Must be self-sufficient, self-starting and driven.
Work Schedule
Generally Monday to Friday. Must be available between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM Eastern Time USA for code reviews and/or status update meetings.Engagement Duration
Two (2) months minimum duration with strong possibility of extensions and full-time/permanent engagement.Salary
