Our Client is the world's largest, and one of the most technically advanced hedge funds in the world. They are located in Connecticut about an hour north of New York City and can offer relocation assistance, free commutation in and out of New York City each day, and a hybrid work from home/office model. This is a 40 plus year old firm currently managing over $170B AUM and growing. Because of the exponential growth they have gone through they have been undertaking transformation initiatives as they move from a boutique to an institutional sized organization. Currently they are looking to fill the position of Senior Associate, Finance Transformation. Please note that they do not provide immigration sponsorship of any kind for this position.


About the Finance Department


Finance is the guardian of our client s financial resources. They seek to drive sustainable shareholder value by controlling, safeguarding, and optimizing use of the firm s financial resources. This responsibility is fulfilled by providing strategic partnership, insights and independent challenge along with the delivery of high-quality financial reporting, forecasting and analysis while maintaining effective and efficient operational control. To further Finance s impact, the department has launched an aggressive transformation platform to enrich insights, improve reporting, risk and control operations and ultimately develop more intimate, influential relationships with business leaders.


About Your Role


The Transformation Senior Associate will work with senior management and pillar leaders to visualize, manage, and continually iterate on broad transformation projects across the Finance department, spanning tech, organizational design, people, and governance. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background to manage multiple stakeholders, drive a plan, and perceive problems as well as finance content knowledge to identify critical paths and interdependencies across Finance functions. The Transformation Senior Associate will act as a strong carrier of the team s vision, goals and community and given rapid growth in abilities and skills, develop within Finance.


You will drive the following responsibilities:

Execute current and establish new paths forward to achieve transformation goals, including directing and quality controlling analysis and activities across internal and external parties

Synthesize and communicate analyses and progress against goals to stakeholders, including identification of risks/issues

Manage Transformation s interface across the Finance organization, broader firm wise, and relevant external parties (vendors, consultants)

Minimum Qualifications:

8-10 years in Finance, of which at least 3-5 years working on Transformation and Continuous Improvement project in ideally both participant and project lead capacity

Demonstrated ability to work across different functions, between Finance and Tech and with senior management Deep knowledge and experience in using productivity tools such as SPO, MS Office

Agile method experience and knowledge of end-user tools and citizen developer culture is a strong plus
