Regional Sales Executive - Utilities


My client is a global leader that manufactures environmentally friendly and safe utility structures. They are seeking to hire a Regional Sales Executive (individual contributor) responsible for new business development to targeted accounts and grow existing client relationships. In this role, you will be an individual contributor; build a sales pipeline, develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and promote growth.


Responsibilities:


  • Create and implement strategic sales plans, promote sales growth
  • Lead sales forecasting in anticipation of meeting / exceeding revenue objectives
  • Manage sales and reps/distributors within designated territory
  • New business development; build sales pipeline and grow existing accounts
  • Identify new opportunities, manage account activities and maintain CRM updates
  • Establish and build client relationships
  • Develop and execute account strategies for new and existing clients
  • Manage client base, client communication and report feedback and product/service effectiveness to leadership
  • Research and analyze data; prepare reports
  • Consultative sales approach; identify need and solution to meet the need
  • Impact Key Decision Makers and provide technical information and documentation via presentations and analyses/reports
  • Attend tradeshows, conferences


Requirements:


  • Bachelor s Degree required; Technical or Engineering degree preferred
  • Min. 5+ years of Sales experience to large/key accounts within Utility industry
  • Technical Sales experience selling to utilities
  • Must have existing, established client relationships within utilities industry
  • Background in utility system transmission and/or distribution required
  • Experience selling complex solutions to C-Suite executives
  • Experience selling via financial selling tools, justifying value add products
  • Documented Sales Success of meeting/exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent Project Management and Communication skills
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Ability to travel


Offering:


  • Base Salary $100,000+ (open based on experience)
  • Year 1 @ plan $250,000 - $300,000, Top reps over $400,000
  • Full Benefits Package, 401K
