Fellowship Place, located in New Haven CT, seeks a full-time Program Assistant for the Community Reporting Engagement Support and Treatment Center (CREST). CREST is a unique day reporting center for individuals with mental illness and criminal justice involvement that seeks to reduce recidivism and help individuals build skills for successful community living. Job responsibilities include planning and conducting group activities that promote recovery from mental illness and substance use, good citizenship, employment, independent living, and compliance with criminal justice referring agentrequirements. Successful applicants will have group work experience and good motivational interviewing skills. Familiarity with the criminal justice network and mental health services in Greater New Haven a plus. Bachelor s Degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Social Work preferred; Associate s Degree in Human Services or a closely related field and a minimum of 2 years work experience in a closely related program will be considered. Hours: 9am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Salary $34,000-$35,000 annually with paid time off and health benefits. _ *Application deadline is 12/1/2022.*_
