Job Description Must be able to work in Norwalk, CT office (Hybrid 3 days per work week). Position Overview : Assist with administrative details in the Commercial Finance deal process. Support portfolio monitoring/ management through reporting and the governance construct. Assist with the Salesforce integration activity to ensure accuracy of reporting and transaction status. Commitment to Internal Control: The Intern must understand, abide and uphold the system of internal controls related to the essential duties and responsibilities of the position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (List in order of time spent) Assist in the preparation of portfolio and process metrics as well as requests for credit approvals from domestic and Japanese authorities. Help develop a Risk Appetite reporting dashboard and promote its utility as a decision-making tool. Assist with the Salesforce integration activity to ensure accuracy of reporting and transaction pipeline status. Assist in the implementation and execution of the new Commercial Finance Portfolio Management procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of a customer & vendor monitoring system. Any other tasks needed to support risk management. Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority: N/A Management/Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically PowerPoint and Excel. Salesforce knowledge a plus. Need to be flexible and take on various responsibilities. As appropriate, demonstrate an ability to work independently. Education and Experience: Completed Sophomore year in May 2023 as undergrad and currently attending college. Business major preferably with concentration in Finance and or Business Analytics Licensing and Certification: None Tools and Equipment Used: Personal computer, copier, fax, phone, and other typical office equipment Location/Working Hours: Must be able to work in Norwalk, CT office (Hybrid 3 days per work week). Hours may vary and may require some evening work or longer hours depending on business needs Travel: N/A Physical Demands: Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc. Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person Body motor skills enough to enable Intern to move from one office location to another The job description does not constitute an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an at will relationship and is subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job change.
