IT Project Engineer – Boston, MA
Position: IT Project Engineer
Location: Boston/Remote with Local Travel to Customer Sites
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
A long-standing National IT Service Provider based in Boston, MA, is currently expanding and on the lookout for an IT Project Engineer to join their established team. This exciting opportunity offers a mixture of hybrid working with local client site visits (within the Greater/Boston area).
They are seeking a Tier III Engineer with a strong hands-on background, now looking for more of a consulting role. Ultimately, your key responsibility will be to engineer, spec, and recommend technology solutions for their customers. You will provide technology consulting on best practices and roadmap future upgrades across their IT Systems.
Key Skills:
• Windows Server 2016-2022 / Active Directory
• Windows 10-11
• Office 365 (inc. Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and Azure
• VMware vSphere (up to 7.0)
• Storage (SAN/NAS)
• Networking and Security (Cisco Routers/Switches/Firewalls/Meraki)
• Backup and DR (Veeam desirable)
• Excellent customer service skills
