You could join a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company s Immunology and Respiratory Disease Department as a highly skilled and motivated Immunologist. In your new role, you will actively contribute to the discovery, development, and delivery of this company s products, and to their patients and customers. Your new role will require you to keep up with advances in disease biology and to develop your skills in a broad set of emerging technologies. Your position will also involve independently applying cellular scientific principles for development of innovative in vitro immune/ fibrotic assays and read-outs using disease relevant primary human cells. The role also offers a level of leadership to those demonstrating a high level of technical proficiency in the field, as you will have the ability to train and develop junior level scientists in the department.

As an Immunologist, you will propose new experiments and technologies based on science. Along with this, you will have an overall understanding of the drug discovery/development process, with the goal of advancing research projects within the immunology and respiratory disease portfolio. Your new position will require you to attend scientific meetings and keeps abreast of literature in own field. You should be able to effectively communicate and defend your work in the context of team and department goals both orally and in writing. In this role, you must report and treat data with a high level of integrity and ethics as well as comply with applicable regulations, perform all work in a safe manner and maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s OR Master s Degree with 2+ years of experience in immunological and/or respiratory diseases research or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in establishing various complex in vitro human primary cell assays.
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing Immune cell-based functional and biochemical assays is required.
  • Proficient in multiplex ELISAs.
  • Experience in flow cytometry and data analysis software.
