ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

MP's client is one of the world's largest patient community and digital health management platforms. Its growing community of members share personal stories and information about their health, symptoms, and treatments, with a goal to improve the lives of all patients through knowledge derived from shared real-world experiences and outcomes. This 17+ year old organization has been validated by more than 100 studies in peer-reviewed medical and scientific journals.

They have been expanding their network at a rapid pace and are looking for an experienced, energetic, and well-organized HR Operations Manager to support both core HR processes as well as contribute to building key elements of a best-in-class employee experience strategy.

This is a hybrid position (remote/onsite as needed) - Must be local to Boston, MA


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage payroll for the organization's 35 (and growing) full time employees
  • Mange employee benefits, including broker/vendor relationships, enrollment, claims resolution and general employee inquiries
  • Manage employee LOA, including maternity leave, disability, FMLA and similar programs
  • Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process to enhance employee experience
  • Oversee global immigration as needed, including green cards, H1B, etc. alongside the organization's vendor partner
  • Maintain and communicate internal HR policies, manage personnel files and completion of employee-related legal documents
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures
  • Work on building out a comprehensive, employee-friendly, and growth-oriented approach to performance management
  • Work with the current Interim Head of HR on building out culture-building activities and opportunities within the organization
  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns with the highest level of care and professionalism
  • Act as the primary administrator of the HR systems (Paylocity), helping to ensure the organization is leveraging the capability in a strategic and thoughtful manner.


WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 5 years HR Operations/HR Generalist experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Track record for building and maintaining high quality HR systems.
  • Experience building and/or facilitating employee onboarding programs
  • Experienced in managing HR vendor relationships (benefits, HRIS systems, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and ability to work across the organization with professionalism.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications required.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Location: Must be local to Boston, MA area
  • Hybrid: will be required to work onsite as needed for various projects, meetings, employee relations, etc.
  • Occasional travel (1-2 times/year)
  • Compensation: Starts around $75k
  • Individual Contributor role
