AM 100 Law firm based in Los Angeles has an immediate opening for an HR Systems Analyst – Workday to join the small, dynamic HRIS team in our Los Angeles office. This position may be considered for a remote or hybrid arrangement from one of our CA offices. We are looking for an experienced addition to the team to bring fresh ideas and technical expertise to complement our existing skillset. The Systems Analyst will work closely with the Manager of HR Systems and two Systems Specialists to support the continuous growth & development of Workday. This role will collaborate extensively with the Human Resources, Finance, and IT teams to support the firm’s infrastructure, oversee system security, develop Prism solutions, manage integrations, and create advanced reports.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies areas of opportunity to improve existing business processes, functionality and work flow, and maximizes technological capabilities to improve data management and efficiency.
  • Recommends changes to current processes to provide for the more effective use of Workday and takes the lead as a project manager to implement these changes.
  • Develop Prism solutions, reports, and analytics to align with customer requirements.
  • Oversees Workday system security including the creation of new roles and security groups as needed.
  • Builds new, and maintains existing, integrations; extensive knowledge of inbound and outbound EIB’s using XSLT transformations and Cloud Connect integrations.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains reports to support analytical and business needs.
  • Collaborates with the Benefits team to streamline enrollment and other processes and assists with compliance and reporting.
  • Stays current with new Workday functionality, focusing on product and service development, delivery, and support.
  • Collaborates with HR Management, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to understand system end-user needs and provides recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient.
  • Configure advanced compensation merit and bonus reviews using Workday to ensure a robust and user-friendly process.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of Workday experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Strong experience in Workday security, advanced reporting, integrations and Prism.
  • Additional experience with Workday benefits, absence, payroll, time-tracking and compensation.
  • Solution oriented with the ability to foresee potential issues and provide solutions.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel (with extensive experience in and knowledge of formulas and functions, pivot tables and charts).
  • Team player/collaborator with ability to work independently.
  • Positive, service-oriented attitude and desire to see issues through to completion.
  • Strong mathematical/analytical aptitude, problem solving, and time-management skills.
