Available: Permanent position available with the 2023-2024 school year with some possible summer hours. Official start date will be August 28, 2023. Requirements/ Qualifications: Connecticut Certification as a School Counselor Master's Degree in School Counseling from an accredited college or university Strong understanding of adolescent development Experience in counseling students, including in crisis situations Ability to tailor interventions to meet individual student needs Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Ability to interpret tests, student data and other appraisal results appropriately in the counseling environment Is skillful at using the Google Suite of programs and Microsoft Excel to collect and analyze data Adheres to ethical practices of the state and national professional counseli...Middle School, School, Counselor, Mentor, Behavioral, Special Education
