Expressive Arts Coordinator for Mental Health Program
Fellowship Place, a non-profit agency located in New Haven, is recruiting for a full time Expressive Arts Coordinator to plan and conduct a broad range of expressive art groups for adults living with a chronic mental illness. Groups may utilize painting, drawing, photography, writing, and music to promote self-expression, self-esteem, and self-advocacy. The Coordinator also organizes in-house art shows and community art shows that provide group participants with opportunities to exhibit and sell their art work. The Coordinator is also responsible for service planning and supportive counseling for an assigned caseload. Position requires a Bachelors Degree in Psychology or Art with a minimum of 2 years experience utilizing art as a therapeutic tool with the mentally ill or other special needs populations. Salary $22/hour with paid time off and health benefits. Send resume and cover letter.
