Our vision at Haartz is to Inspire, Empower & InnovateThis is who we are looking for:The Maintenance group at Haartz is looking for a highly-motivated Industrial Journeyman Electrician on the mid-shift to join our growing team! New ideas, new technologies and new ways of thinking are driving our future!This is what you will be doing:As a Journeyman Electrician on the mid-shift, you will be responsible installing and repairing electrical facility systems and electrical components of industrial equipment.Some Responsibilities below:Install control level wiring and electrical conduit for work orders and projects to repair or upgrade production machines and other equipment.Terminate power and control wiring to machines and equipment based on electrical drawings.Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical & control systems including PLC and I/O based systems, AC & DC drives, load cell and isolation amplifiers, transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, etc.Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers and plant personnel to diagnose problems.Replace faulty electrical components on equipment such as relays, amplifiers, motors, drives, position sensors, and other control devices.Assist mechanical personnel when additional resources are needed.Work safely and follow all safety and environmental guidelines as specified by Haartz.Hours/Shifts: 1:30 PM 11:30 PM, Rotation schedule for Saturdays. Overtime after 8 hoursThis is what you should bring:Trade school or vocational school graduate and/or accredited apprenticeship program graduate. Two or more years experience as a Journeyman electrician. Industrial experience required. Massachusetts Journeyman Electrical License required.
