Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our fast-paced, creative team. This position is a hybrid role, reporting to our Head of HR and is based in our Stamford, CT headquarters. You will provide HR leadership and guidance for our Marketing team. Key areas of focus are talent acquisition, engagement and retention, talent & performance management, career development and building organizational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Head of Human Resources and marketing leaders to align creative, progressive talent strategies, with business objectives to deliver DFWS business performance.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting, productive relationships with marketing leaders, as well as a deep understanding of all roles and functional ways of working.
- Provide strategic guidance in organizational design and effectiveness, talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, performance management as well as other strategic initiatives.
- Conduct workforce planning and analysis, including headcount planning, turnover analysis, and partner with leadership team to develop appropriate strategies.
- Steward the end-to-end employee experience for the marketing
- Translate organizational needs into plans of action to achieve organizational goals and strategies.
- Maintain data integrity for client group in HR system of record.
Job Requirements or Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- 10 plus years of progressive HR experience, strong business acumen.
- Experience coaching mid and senior leaders to improve leadership and team performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively interface and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Have a strong client focus with outstanding judgement, critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful experience in a fast-paced matrix environment.
