Our client is a family-owned media company operating in Central Connecticut. They are looking for an experienced Sales Manager that will help grow digital revenue for the company, including digital marketing services and owned & operated digital products. This role is hybrid with the opportunity to work from home up to 4 days per week!

Job Details:

The Digital Media Sales Manager will help execute strategic sales objectives for all digital company revenue. They will be actively involved in prospecting for new clients and making sales calls. This person ideally is a seasoned digital sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and leadership experience who wants to be a part of a fast-moving company focused on growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and annual digital company revenue goals.
  • Participate in weekly sales team meetings
  • Prospect for new business and work through the sales process to close business.
  • Participate in ongoing sales and product training.
  • Make sales calls and presentations to new and/or existing accounts.
  • Maintain a client-centric environment with a proactive commitment to internal and external customer service and client success.
  • Manage campaign performance and client satisfaction throughout the campaign.
  • Manage retention efforts to ensure customers are not lost while acquiring new accounts.
  • Sell digital products, services, and campaigns, demonstrating value to new and existing customers, focusing on helping clients achieve their goals and delivering measurable results for them.
  • Stay educated on regional and national digital and marketing trends via involvement in industry associations and other relevant groups.
  • Attend community and professional events to build relationships, brand, and revenue.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Marketing or marketing training required.
  • At least 1-2 years of digital media sales experience, with social media skills/ knowledge required.
  • Customer centric - with a focus on making the right sale

Other:

  • This is a full-time exempt position with base salary and performance incentive.
  • Candidates must live within commuting distance of our Meriden, CT office and must be able to attend local in person client meetings.
