Homebase Digital is a subsidiary of the RJ Media group and is a full-service digital agency, offering marketing solutions that fuel business growth in our communities. Its core mission is to Help businesses navigate the ever changing digital media landscape .




The person we are looking to hire should be an energetic and motivated professional, committed to play a key role in growing all digital revenue for our company, including digital marketing services and owned & operated digital products.




This role is hybrid with the opportunity to work from home up to 4 days per week!







PURPOSE OF POSITION



The Digital Media Sales Manager will help execute our strategic sales objectives for all digital company revenue. They will be actively involved in prospecting for new clients and making sales calls.

This person ideally is a seasoned digital sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and leadership experience who wants to be a part of a fast-moving company focused on growth.



The Digital Media Sales Manager will be responsible for their monthly and annual digital revenue targets as a part of the company s overall goals. While the role is autonomous, they should be a team player.




The individual should be a good practitioner and believer in a consultative sales approach, highly customer centric and believes in making the right sale.







ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Achieve monthly and annual digital company revenue goals.

  • Participate in weekly sales team meetings

  • Prospect for new business and work through the sales process to close business.

  • Participate in ongoing sales and product training.

  • Make sales calls and presentations to new and/or existing accounts.

  • Maintain a client-centric environment with a proactive commitment to internal and external customer service and client success.

  • Manage campaign performance and client satisfaction throughout the campaign.

  • Manage retention efforts to ensure customers are not lost while acquiring new accounts.

  • Sell digital products, services, and campaigns, demonstrating value to new and existing customers, focusing on helping clients achieve their goals and delivering measurable results for them.

  • Stay educated on regional and national digital and marketing trends via involvement in industry associations and other relevant groups.

  • Attend community and professional events to build relationships, brand, and revenue.






MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS



  • College degree in marketing or marketing training required.

  • Three years of digital media sales experience, with social media skills/ knowledge required.

  • Computer skills required, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Must possess a valid driver s license and reliable transportation. If no driver s license, must have reliable and at the ready transportation for frequent local travel.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar.



JOB SCOPE



  • Full-time exempt position with base salary and performance incentive.

  • Hours are generally 8:30 am 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

  • Candidates must live within commuting distance of our Meriden, CT office and must be able to attend local in person client meetings.
