IT and Infrastructure Specialist - CT Butler Aerospace & Defense Shelton, CT Full-Time Apply on company site Job Details favorite_border Role: IT and Infrastructure Specialist Location: Shelton, CT or West Lafayette, IN What You Will Do: Design and support enterprise Active Directory, LDAP, and DNS production environment. Engineers are expected to respond to applicable Priority 1 incidents and drive resolution. Manage the troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, and customer expectations. Collaborates with teams across the organization to resolve issues and drive projects. Owns the design and implementation of existing or new technologies. Provide technical guidance to support staff on the team and in other areas. Skills and Experience You Will Need: Service Operations processes. Experience and extensive knowledge working with numerous Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory and related services. Solid understanding of core infrastructure technologies such as DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, LDAP, etc. Expertise in areas such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server, Microsoft Exchange, VMware ESXi, Veeam Backup and Replication Suite, McAfee Endpoint Protection, Solarwinds SIEM, AirWatch MDM, DUO MFA, etc. 5 or more years of experience in IT environments installing, configuring, supporting, and upgrading the solutions listed above. Demonstrated excellent problem solving, problem management, and root cause analysis skills. Expertise in networking (Cisco, Palo Alto, and Meraki) and other related areas are a plus. This individual should excel in the design and implementation of these solutions, as well as possessing extensive troubleshooting skills with resolving complex issues. Willingness to take on new technologies with an eye for ownership is a must. Education Requirements: Must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university. IT certifications a plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., as needed. Must be able to work on-site as needed.
