Job Highlights Master the exciting area of urethane formulation development, creating elastomers that perform in real world applications. Work closely with customers to solve their urethane processing and part performance issues, directly seeing the impact of your work. Learn about specific applications for urethane materials, the needed mechanical requirements, and the business that drives thes applications. Learn and opperate precision laboratory testing equipment to characterize urethane prepolymers, curatives, and final cured elastomers. Work with senior team members to develop new products, targetting growing market areas. Document lab work and customer interactions. Requirements Specific Education B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Plastics Engineering is required M.S. in one of the above fields or Polymer Science is a plus Work Experience Entry level position however some experience - two to five years in industry (manufacturing or laboratory) would be a plus Exposure to plastics or polymers is desired Special Skills Exposure to polymeric materials and specifically urethanes is a plus, but not required Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to talk with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience (new floor workers to experienced senior management) Good team player, capable of working in a dynamic enviornment What we offer you: Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program.
