Business Analyst III
Location : Hybrid Work Schedule out of Hauppauge, NY. Remote Work Schedule may be considered.Required to participate in after-hours support on a scheduled basis.
As a TEAMMATE:
You can expect to be responsible for the requirements specification, implementation, and support of our Neometrics Newborn Screening applications. The Analyst is involved in both new product introductions and maintenance of existing products. The Analyst's key tasks for our Newborn Screening programs are analyzing business requirements, testing, debugging, querying, and installing new system implementations and providing support for existing systems. You can expect to consult with users directly to continually manage program objectives for software implementation and serve as the voice of the customer.
What you'll get to do in this role:
Responsible for the configuration of the software in the development and staging environments
Responsible for updating all Client implementation and support activities in the divisional request/project tracking system; as per the software delivery flowchart
Contribute to the "What" via the product specification, analysis, and testing of the software applications from product conception through implementation
Provide telephone assistance and training to existing Clients (users and IT staff) in a call center type environment. Takes ownership of each call and follows through to its completion. Will provide technical expertise to customers on application, network and database issues
Develop user and product requirements and specifications for the product using a deep understanding of requirements development principles
Manage client relationship and expectations from RFP through implementation, delivery and support
Consult with users to identify program gaps and synergies and to continually manage program objectives for software implementation and software support
Provide training to Clients on all product functions.
Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Quality Assurance Leads, IT Specialists, and Software Development in the overall ownership of the Product Delivery Lifecycle
Travel: Up to 15% client sites or office as needed.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent and three to five years related business analyst experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server Database
Ability to write SQL queries and select statements with joins
Experience in Microsoft Windows (servers and workstations) and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with use of Internet and Intranet
Experience in support of web-based applications
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders (internal and external)
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, customer focus, and commitment to ongoing process improvement
Demonstrated knowledge at building complex reports in SSRS, Power BI
Knowledge of information technology: PCs, servers, software, Azure, and databases
Desirable Qualifications (Not Required)
Familiarity with Health Level 7 (HL7) messaging
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
Familiarity with metabolic and hearing medical terminology preferred but not required
Business Analyst Certification preferred but not required
Compensation and Benefits: Along with a competitive salary and bonus structure, we offer a comprehensive benefit package: Healthcare Benefits that kick in Day 1, 401k match, 9 paid holidays, 4 weeks accrued PTO, and up to $5,000 tuition reimbursement annually. The salary range is $91,300 to $105,000 Based on Experience/Regional Cost of Living and 4% Bonus Structure.
