Pelletier Builders is a contractor with a broad range of experience in design/build, general contracting, and construction management firm that can self-perform in all market sectors. Our in-house capabilities include site work, concrete, carpentry, and select finish trades.
We are searching for a knowledgeable and experienced Architect to add to our team in Connecticut. Pelletier Builders goal is to hire individuals with a passion for construction to help us grow as a company, and in turn, offer opportunities for personal growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
* Responsible for the direction of support staff administrators, drafters, etc.
* Ability to create architectural design documents plans, details, elevations, renderings, etc.
* Completes code review analysis.
* Coordinates Owner program and scope requirements and work elements provided by others.
* Engages sub-consultants required to complete all aspects of design.
* Works with estimating and project management staff to coordinate design and scope requirements.
* Understands designing to budget constraints.
* Coordinates with design-assist subcontractors provides design parameters and requirements and ensures completeness in code required documentation.
* Prepares design proposals and project design narratives.
* Assists in contract administration and periodic progress reviews.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction new construction, renovations, interior work, etc.
* Experience in Pre-Engineered Metal Building construction.
* Design-Build Experience.
* Experience in the project value range of $1-$20 Million.
* Architecture License in CT (MA & RI a plus).
