We will consider candidates located near our Norwalk, CT office (Hybrid) or Itasca, IL offices.
Position Overview:
Responsible for the data strategy and solutions across MHCA.
Commitment to Internal Control :
The incumbent must understand, abide and uphold the system of internal controls related to the essential duties and responsibilities of the position, including SOX and COBIT compliance.
Essential Functions:
Lead company towards cloud-based data solutions in Microsoft Azureenabling predictive analytics, artificial intelligence/machine learning solutions, and data integrations with other enterprise platforms.
Introduce a Data Governance approach across MHCA.
Builds strategy, analytical approaches and methodologies around long-term concepts designed to understand key business behaviors driving company success (customer acquisition, retention, engagement, etc.)
Provide business analytics support to company leadership, developing recommendations and methodologies to capture critical, actionable data to achieve aggressive business goals including, but not limited to: customer, vendor and product profitability and cost to serve analyses.
Drive analytics self-service: managing the creation and updating of dashboards that empower commercial, operational and finance teams, while identifying opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses.
Identifies new opportunities to optimize the business through analytical and statistical modeling. Integrates business systems data (CRM (Salesforce), portfolio management, etc.) & external data to create synergies for standardized monthly/quarterly Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards, pipeline reporting, etc.
Develops and manages a data engineering & analytics team that can perform advanced data analysis, articulate and explain to all levels of the organization. Ensures team can respond efficiently and expeditiously to internal and external customer requests for information and support.
Works cross-functionally to develop/monitor key performance indicators, identifying data trends, outliers, and obscurities, and translating them into actionable insights for functional leaders; initiates new technology and processes required to deliver business analytics; implements processes and tools to deliver business analytics in a scalable and user-friendly way.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):
Develop data integration strategy for merged companies in FY2023
Initiate Data Governance strategy in FY2023
Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority: Act independently; Decision-making within Company policy.
Management/Supervisory Responsibilities: Data team
Cross-functional leadership.
Qualifications:
Key Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Minimum 10 years experience in IT leadership
Experience leading large-scale cross-business IT projects & programs
Experience with financial systems, preferably in the leasing industry
Experience/Knowledge of the Microsoft data technology stack preferred: Azure Data Lake
SQLServer / SQL MI
Reporting tools - PowerBI & SSRS
ETL tools Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS & APIs
Azure Machine Learning & Purview

Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in business, engineering or technology or equivalent experience
Licensing and Certification: Not required
Working Hours/Travel Requirements : Work hours may vary and will require periodic overtime to meet business needs, including occasional evening and weekend work.
Occasional travel to branch offices or seminars may be required
Physical Demands: Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person
Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another

Salary Range: $210,800 to $238,100 per year, plus a discretionary Bonus.
The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, and education.
