Technical Support Specialist - in-office role

About the Company and Opportunity :


  • Our client is an established, stable and growing professional services organization located in Greater New Haven
  • Due to an internal promotion, this person will serve as "right hand" to the Manager of Information Technology.
  • This company is known for its family-like culture, dedication to staff welfare and competitive benefits package.
  • This role will be in the office 5 days a week during normal business hours as well as local, reimbursed travel.
Overview of the Technical Support Specialist role:


  • respond to and support hardware and software requests
  • provide end-user training
  • resolve connectivity issues
  • configure and install network devices
  • conduct new hire technology set-up

Preferred Qualifications for the Technical Support Specialist:

  • minimum 1 year of experience supporting windows desktops and laptops in a small- medium sized business setting
  • experience with Help Desk support for hardware and software
  • demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network and printing challenges
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills and service orientation
