Our client, who are a global manufacturer have an opportunity for an IT Consultant with SAP experience to help shape their SAP landscape. You will manage all stages of the life cycle of an IT project, (drafting terms and conditions, analysis of bids/quotations, planning, functional analysis, technical analysis, programming, testing, documentation, training users, deployment, maintenance and evolution), monitoring them to ensure they are achieved by their respective deadlines and with the requisite quality.
Role responsibilities:
- Work closely with the IT Project Managers and Business Application Manager in the execution of IT projects in the SAP area, supporting with the analysis of bids/quotations, collaborating with planning, functional analysis, technical analysis, programming, testing, documentation, training users, deployment, maintenance and evolution
- Support with the control and follow up of outsourced tasks, monitoring suppliers to ensure agreed tasks are achieved by their respective deadlines and to the required quality standards
- Perform corrective maintenance, analysing incidents
- Perform evolutionary maintenance, analysing and evaluating requests for improvement and performing the function design thereof
- Perform parametrisation tasks of the company's information systems
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the Group's information systems and collaborate in their implementation and improvement
- Perform the functional and technical design, programming and testing of the developments
- Document and report the information within the post-holder's scope of management in accordance with the procedures in place in the department, advising their direct manager whenever any abnormality arises or possible improvement in the operation of the processes
- Comply with the Food Safety regulations, Information Technology and Cyber security policies in force (Quality, OHS, MA, etc.) within their scope of responsibility, and advise of any anomaly and/or breach detected
Essential Functiona Technical Skills
- Experience in similar roles
- High: Information systems project management methodology.
- High: SAP ERP- Specially PP-SD modules. SAP Architect experience desirable
