Job Description
Eurofins Reservoirs is seeking three (3) full-time Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) analysts. Preferred candidates will hold an associates or bachelors degree in science; Geology, Forensic Science, Materials Science, or similar. On the job training will be provided to all new employees, a background in microscopy and construction materials is helpful but not required.
Candidate Must Be Available To Work Either
Monday - Friday 1:00PM - 9:30PM or,
Tuesday - Friday 1:00PM - 9:30PM and Saturday 9:00AM - 5:30PM
Responsibilities
Associates or Bachelors degree in science (Geology, Forensic Science, Materials Science or similar science) preferred
Background in microscopy and construction materials is helpful but not required
In order to perform analysis, candidate must be able to distinguish colors
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is hourly, full-time with the ability to work overtime as needed. Applicants living within a commutable distance of Denver, CO are encouraged to apply. Pay rate: From $18/hr.

- Preparation/Analysis of bulk samples by Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) in accordance with the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform all analyses and quality control measures in accordance with the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform equipment maintenance and calibration in accordance with the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Enter data into the LIMS as specified and report data to the client, verbally and electronically
- Store and dispose of client samples in accordance with the laboratory's Standard Operating Procedures
