The Manager of Operations Technology-Analytics position is responsible for leading a team focused on providing metric governance, complex analytics and insights, and business performance management for Global Housing Operations. The ideal candidate combines their knowledge of Global Housing businesses / processes, how the data translates to the processes and analytical skillset to uncover new insights influencing key decisions across the organization. This Manager of Operations Technology-Analytics position is expected to interact with team members at various levels of the organization, ranging from frontline associates and managers to Senior Leaders across the Enterprise.
Facilitates the Business Performance Management process that highlights each product’s overall performance and uncovers opportunities for improvement.
Leads through execution various analytics initiatives across all Global Housing line of business including highly visible efforts focused on driving expense reduction and/or revenue and margin impacts.
Present insights from analytical studies to senior managers and leadership, both orally and in writing. Deliver high quality visual presentations, communicating both data-driven and conceptual information effectively.
Establishes and monitors a metric framework and reporting standards across all Global Housing lines of business.
Drives business value through domain knowledge and ensure reporting and analytic solutions are actionable and provide key business insights
Supports business initiatives and participates in defining business requirements through interaction with other business areas of the company to ensure we can achieve strategic goals.
The Manager of Operations Technology-Analytics serves as a key stakeholder in the design and definition of Global Housing Operations dashboards.
Develops new and expand/leverage existing reporting and analytics capabilities across the Global Housing line of business to drive consistency in a structured and consistent manner.
Helps define and champion reporting and analytics disciplines and provides the processes, structures, and tools necessary for team members to facilitate, define, and manage their scope of work.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
At least 3 years’ experience managing in a technical or Analytics related function
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
5 years of experience in the insurance industry
5+ years’ experience performing complex operational and financial analysis
Certifications: Green belt/ Black belt Six Sigma certification desired.
Experienced in retrieving and manipulating large datasets for analysis
Experienced in presenting findings from complex studies to senior leadership
Excellent time management, organization, and follow-up skills
Intermediate knowledge of SQL
Experienced with PowerBI / Tableau
Highly skilled in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access
Experience in ROI / Business case development
Understanding of Agile Scrum & Waterfall methodologies
Knowledge of Global Housing businesses
Leadership and delegation
Budget and financial management
