Job Description:
We are looking for a Human Resources Director to develop, coordinate, and execute HR initiatives and programs that drive organizational strategy and business results for Travel Insured International (TII).This position requires expertise and insight into a range of disciplines, including talent management, organizational development and learning, DEI, and employee relations.Working closely with TII senior leadership and the A Division HR team, the incumbent will be a trusted advisor to the business, consulting with the leaders on strategic decisions to drive a high performance culture. This role sits on the TII Executive Team and has accountability to the TII President. What you wil do:Partner closely with senior leadership to understand its financials, objectives, and challenges to best drive a high performance culture.Consult and advise the business leader and management team on organizational design and proactively participate in talent management and performance management of both existing and prospective employees. Collaborate with new TII President and VP A HR to build a strong culture and increase employee engagement in support of businesss strategic growth goals.Coach Managers on setting clear performance expectations and supporting them during employee relations matters so as to handle them in a professional, legal, and ethical manner.Provide consultative support to employees on career development, performance issues, and general concerns. Partner with managers and HR Team to build out career pathing and development opportunities to support employees growth and career goals. Collaborate closely with A HR Team to drive and execute cross A Division people and culture strategies and programs.Manage employee relations issues, counsel managers in application of HR policies, conduct employee investigations and exit interviews.Work closely with the Corporate HR Shared Services team on all payroll, benefits and disability matters. Identify and execute opportunities to drive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and engagement across TII and A Work closely with corporate Compensation and VP A HR to design and deliver motivating compensation and incentive programs. Partner with TII leadership and VP A HR on annual compensation planning.Remain current on statutory legislations, laws and overall HR trends. Responsible for recruitment strategy and execution working closely with A VP HR and Talent Acquisition team.Manage small team consisting of an HR Representative and Trainer.Oversee new hire onboarding and TII orientation. Participate in annual budgeting process with senior management.Participate in special projects where needed.Key Competencies: Demonstrated ability to build positive client relationships and influence all levels of the organizationExcellent oral and written communication skills are requiredStrong change management skillsAbility to coach both management and employees for positive outcomesDemonstrated ability to conduct effective investigations and resolve conflictProven ability to prioritize rapidly; strong problem-solving skills; excellent decision making/analysis skillsAbility to communicate both A and corporate initiatives and to recommend adaptations necessary for TII populationAbility to manage multiple projectsFlexible and self-directedStrong people management skillsWorkforce Management experience a plusHigh degree of professionalism and confidentialityAbility to operate in a matrixed organizational structure and decentralized HR structureWhat you will bring to C:Bachelors degree is required; undergraduate or graduate work in HR or business a plus.Minimum 7 years experience in an HR Business Partner role; ideally minimum of 5 in a leadership role.Experience providing employee consultation, employee relations, human capital planning, talent management and career planning.Experience with a Call Center employee population ideal Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (preferably Workday), and the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
