BSA SPECIALIST

The candidate for this position will serve as a member of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) unit and support the bank in maintaining and adhering to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements while maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing received due diligence information, performing necessary follow-up, and identifying potential higher-risk customers/accounts while facilitating the collection of additional due diligence information. The candidate will process and resolve OFAC hits, utilize the bank’s Anti-Money Laundering software to facilitate necessary processes/procedures as well as maintain required documentation. The candidate will also be responsible for completing the bank’s Currency Transaction Reporting and Monetary Instrument Logs.

 Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, some college experience with an emphasis in criminal justice, data analytics, or accounting preferred. Two to three years of BSA/AML, bank fraud, or bank operations experience is preferred. The candidate must possess strong analytical skills, exercise sound judgment, attention to detail while performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and strong written and verbal communication skills.  The ability to work late and/or flexible hours is required. EO/AA Employer: Title VII/Protected Veterans/Disability Status
