The Accounting Associate will be responsible for:
- Research and correct of invoices for customer payments
- Post checks and supplier invoices into our accounting system
- Balance Accounts Receivable subledger to the General Ledger
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Issue and manage checks and ACH transactions to suppliers
- Prepare journals and account reconciliations
- Develop and update Accounts Payable Policies
- Create cash flow projections
- Prepare 1099 Applications
- Perform clerical duties as needed including filing, mailing invoices and documents
- Perform related administrative duties
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Associate:
- 3+ years General Accounting experience
- Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables & vlookups)
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
